\n The first solar power plant \u201cHudsovka-Solar\u201d with a capacity of twenty megawatts will be designed near Ismail. The other one called \u201cArtsyz-Solar\u201d with fourteen megawatts will be located on the territory of Pavlovsky rural council of Artsyzsky region. Both projects will have the peak power as of twenty-six and eighteen megawatts accordingly.\n

\n The total power capacity of both plants will constitute around thirty-five megawatt. This means four percent of the electricity consumption volume in the Odesa region. To be more precise, this is comparable to the energy consumption of twenty-three thousand Ukrainian households.\n

\n These objects will be equipped with polycrystalline silicon panels mounted on stationary structures.\n

\n Speaking about being eco-friendly, setting to work the plants will allow emissions prevention in the amount as of about fifty-five tons of carbon dioxide. They report that both projects are to be finished in the fourth quarter of this year. Moreover, UDP Renewables plans to become the Ukrainian leader in energy production using environmentally friendly sources.\n

\n Recently, in Ukraine, they witness a kind of designboom of solar power plants. The reason for that is the so-called \u201cgreen tariff.\u201d The state-owned company Ukrenergo buys electricity from such stations at relatively high prices. Nowadays, the state pays the manufacturer around fifteen euro cents for each kilowatt per hour of such electricity, while the consumer gets electricity much cheaper (about four euro cents).\n

\n Thus, the purchase of \u201ceco\u201d electricity is actually conducted at a loss. Strategically, this is performed in order to attract investors to Ukraine for the building of such stations as well as saving the environment.\n

\n According to Degtyarev, the deterioration of relations between the US and Russia has led to the fact that the US wasn\u2019t ready to accept Russian presence in American space. Obviously, it refers to Russian RD-180 engines. As a result, this situation gives great opportunities for Ukraine.\n

\n In this regard, the design bureau \u201cPivdenny\u201d is eager to replace the RD-180 with the RD-815 which is a new Ukrainian marching engine with a load of 250 tons. Moreover, according to the general director, in addition to the marching RD-815, the new Ukrainian marching RD-870 is also of great interest to potential customers.\n

\n RD-815 is a marching engine with a turbo-pump system for the supply of fuel components. It is made in accordance with the scheme of the generator gas. The engine is developed on the basis of proven technologies of the Zenit LV. The engine has high energy and mass characteristics.\n

\n RD-815 is ready to be used in the most advanced LV of Mayak type. Based on this engine, it is possible to create a line of cluster engines with a load from 500 to 1000 ton-force.\n

\n According to published data, innovation dynamics in Ukraine remains stable: Ukrainians register about 12-13 thousand patents for inventions and utility models annually. \n By the way, the basis of the report is the patent databases available in the Derwent Innovation and Derwent World Patent Index. Both products are provided by Clarivate Analytics, an international company that is one of the world leaders in developing similar solutions. Therefore, you can see that each patent has an owner and there are authors of these patents. The authors were classified in two ways. The first way implies the country of a particular patent. Let\u2019s say it is the place where it has been invented. These are patents declared in Ukraine through Ukrpatent, then in the USA, Europe and so on. The second way is determined by the nationality of authors, in such patents at least one author is a citizen of Ukraine. At the same time, they can be submitted, for example, by Ukrainian developers from their US company directly to the United States.\n

\n Mostly, Qualcomm has bought patents on inventions not on utility models from Ukraine. 3 out of 4 university leaders are agrarian or related to agriculture. But generally, a significant portion of patents in Ukraine belongs to individual inventors.\n

\n Quarterly, Qualcomm spends $ 5.5 billion on research and development on a global scale. And by the end of 2017, patents brought $ 5.1 billion which is an incredible amount.\n

\n As for patents bought by Qualcomm, then most of them are related to communication. Which one? As you know, IT is one of the three most important sectors of the economy in Ukraine. IT forms about 3% of the country's GDP.\n

\n The program Gulfstream occupied strengthening studies that were asked from Progresstech Ukraine\u2019s side. \n Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ) is a turbofan regional airliner designed and manufactured by the Japanese aircraft building corporation Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation. This corporation was founded in 2008 by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Toyota Motor Corporation. \n When on the 22\n nd\n of February, 2018, the Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure announced the participation of Ukraine in the Hyperloop project, the public took this as a joke. Indeed, it sounded like Ukraine wants to skip tens of steps in the development of infrastructure. With time, jokes became out-of-date, and pure calculations and predictions started to appear on the web.\n

\n They say that people are never ready to innovations and take them with humor. Elon Musk made a lot of things that sounded impossible, and he continues doing this. World development is in the hands of the dreamers, and looks like Volodymyr Omelian is one of such dreamers. First, people think that the news about Hyperloop is a bubble, then the memorandum is considered as a weak one, later the test platform is not taken seriously, and finally, a trip by Hyperloop becomes a common routine thing.\n

\n What Is Hyperloop: Brief Background\n

\n $\"\"$ \n

\n Hyperloop is an innovative transport system offered by Elon Musk. It is a tube in a form of a loop, in which a hermetic capsule can move at a speed of 1000 km per hour. The tube is fixed on the pylons situated 30 meters far one from another and on the height of 6-30 meters from the ground (depending on the landscape).\n Inside the pipe, there is rarefied air. The capsule starts moving on 15-meters long rail, where an electric impulse triggers the movement. The further movement is maintained by the air. A compressor which is on the nose of the capsule captures the rarified air and directs it under the capsule. The air pillow thus pushes the capsule.\n

\n Capsules may be for passengers or cargoes. The passenger one can transport 28 people. All the passengers are to stay at their seats with the seat belts fastened, and the movement around the salon during the trip is prohibited.\n

\n Steps So Far\n

\n Since the announcement of Ukraine\u2019s being ready to participate in the building of the Hyperloop connection on the 22\n nd\n of February, 2018, not much has been done. The recent news says about the signing of the memorandum about a cooperation between Ukraine and the biggest developer of the Hyperloop technologies in the world: Hyperloop Transportation Technologies on the 14\n th\n of June, 2018. The analogical project is being developed in 9 countries of the world including France and UAE. The memorandum is an agreement to join the efforts in the project\u2019s development in terms of technological developments and searching for the investors for the project. There are a lot of critics on this memorandum claiming that it does not oblige any side to take any actions. Still, the step forward has been made.\n

\n Economical Side of the Project\n

\n Concerning the economic side of the project, the thoughts of the experts vary a lot.\n

\n Hyperloop Transportation Technologies claim that the project will break even in 12 years even though the evaluated cost of building of 1 km of the connection is $20,000,000. It is a good thing for Ukraine since the railway can never come to a break-even point: it is always being built at the governmental costs and then there are a lot of needs that require more investments. Moreover, building of the regular railway is claimed to be costlier.\n

During the realization of this project, they will be able to find a lot of technological solutions not only for Hyperloop, but for a lot of other spheres: new engines, new infrastructure, etc. The thing is not about whether Hyperloop will go or not, but this is a chance for Ukraine to activate its technological and intelligent potentials.\n

\n 4 Steps of the Project\n

\n To build a Hyperloop in any country, 4 stages should be passed:\n

\n 1. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Scientists, governmental structures, and private companies develop the project in accordance with the company\u2019s demands.\n

\n 2. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The project is being presented by Virgin Hyperloop One.\n

As part of this project, Orbital Sciences Corporation developed the eponymous launch vehicle that is used for commercial launches. The first stage of the rocket was developed with the participation of the Ukrainian design bureau Pivdenne, which was previously engaged in the creation of Zenith rockets.\n

\n According to the information provided by the Pivdenne Design Office, the enterprise is developing a concept for creating a lunar research base. The lunar project encompasses the configuration and infrastructure at various stages of operation, the project implementation dates, as well as the main technical characteristics of the systems being developed. For instance, the engineers are focused on developing space transport system for the delivery of crew and cargo to the surface of the moon, typical constructions of lunar modules, vehicles on the surface of the moon, etc.\n

\n According to the published strategy, within the framework of the project from 2020 to 2030, Ukraine should complete the preparatory stage (the preliminary study of the lunar surface), and it should go on to create a \u201cminimum configuration base\u201d by 2030. In April 2018, Gennady Osinov, head of the design department of Pivdenne Design Bureau for the development of special rocket and space systems, confirmed the continuation of work on the project. At the same time, he admitted that it couldn\u2019t be implemented without international support. Moreover, the financing of the project\u2019s work involves the participation of the governments of the most developed countries.\n

\n According to the official NASA website, the new moon exploration program was signed by US President Donald Trump in 2017. \n Three Phases of KEYNOTE-042\n

\n KEYNOTE-042 development had three phases. The first one was aimed at seeing the first side effects of drugs. They were implemented in small groups of volunteers, usually conducted in America. The second phase, after the successful first, extends to patients with a specific problem, in this very case, there were patients with lung cancer disease. As a rule, at this stage, it is about the selection of the optimal dose of drugs. The third phase of clinical trials included mostly comparisons. As an option, one group of patients took classical therapy, and the second took the newest one (immune stimulators).\n

\n The data presented at ASCO are based on a median 19.1 months follow-up and also includes data on 79 patients who switched from chemotherapy to pembrolizumab treatment, according to the study protocol, and 12 patients treated with PD-1 without cross-examination.\n

\n So, the results of the 19-month median follow-up showed a 37% reduction in the risk of death of the patients due to the treatment with pembrolizumab compared to the chemotherapy. They did not have time to formalize the modernization process: Salamatin left the post of minister, his followers did not see any rational grain in equipping the Armed Forces of Ukraine with more modern tanks, especially taking into account the curtailment of costs under the Minister of Defense. The vehicles were returned to the combat strength of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was quite costly to carry five tanks far away, so the 92nd OMBR in Bashkirovka, near Kharkiv, where the tanks continued to \"rust,\" was designated to be their \"permanent deployment point\". The subsequent epic with the \"repair\" of the T-84 and their participation in the Combined Resolve X exercises and the Strong Europe Tank Challenge-2018 competition is well known.\n

\n The tank is armed with a 125 mm KBA3 smoothbore cannon, stabilized in two guidance planes, paired with a KT-7.62 or PKT 7.62 mm machine gun, and an anti-aircraft machine gun mounts with a KT-12.7 or NSVT-12 anti-aircraft machine gun. 7 calibers 12.7 mm, stabilized in the vertical and horizontal planes, controlled by the commander from inside the tank with the hatch closed.\n

\n The ammunition of the tank includes shots to the gun with armor-piercing, cumulative, high-explosive fragmentation, high-explosive fragmentation type \"C\" or \"P\" shells, and guided missiles.\n
