The institution carries out a wide range of research on the problem of plant protection and coordinates its implementation in Ukraine. The institute offers services on the following issues: - estimation of the phytosanitary condition of agrocenosis; - carrying out entomological and phytopathological analysis of crop and planting material of agricultural crops; - сonsultations on the application of trichogramma for the protection of vegetable and fruit crops from scalded pests; - scientific support of integrated protection of main crops, including perennial plantations, from harmful organisms; Moreover, the additional services proposed by the institution cover the following spheres: conducting research works, examinations, analytical works, seminars, conferences, courses for advanced training, preparation of specialists through graduate and doctoral studies and defense of dissertations.
