The key services in the research sphere of the Institute involve: - Unmanned (remotely piloted) aircraft systems and complexes to solve national economic and specific tasks; - Preparing the regulatory and legislative background for the legal use of unmanned (remotely piloted) aircraft in the airspace of Ukraine; - Mathematical and physical modeling of aerospace engineering objects: unconventional aerodynamic configurations of aircraft, critical flight conditions, aeroelasticity, and survivability; - Designing new methods for designing and implementing the above-mentioned in the development cycle of aviation and rocket technology; - Navigation, control, and radio communication systems for complexes based on unmanned (remotely piloted) aircraft; - Target systems and other components of unmanned (remotely piloted) aircraft and the systems based on that.
Modern airplane structures are not completely rigid, and aeroelastic phenomena arise when structural deformations induce changes in aerodynamic forces. Our engineers perform the following analysis types: - Static Aeroelasticity: - Divergence - Control Surfaces reversal prediction (i.e. ailerons reversal) - Dynamic Aeroelasticity: - Flutter prediction and anti-flutter design - Dynamic response analysis - Buffeting prediction and prevention. If you need aeroelasticity engineering services for your project, do not hesitate to contact our specialists. We will assess your project’s requirements and offer the best solutions for you.
faq
The design of a modern aircraft is associated with the need to solve many scientific and technical problems. These include the prevention of dangerous self-oscillations in flight, taking into account the elasticity of the structure. These tasks relate to dynamic aeroelasticity or aeroelasticity engineering, a science in which the interaction of an elastic structure (during its vibrations) with airflow is investigated. We consider maneuverable unmanned aerial vehicles, therefore, their presence must be taken into account when studying the vibrations of an elastic structure in flight.
