The main task of Oil Company NC is to ensure the transportation of oil to the refineries of Ukraine, as well as the transit of oil to European countries. To accomplish the main task, the company performs the following functions: - keeps records of the amount of oil, controls its quality characteristics within the existing contractual terms; - conducts surveys and analyzes the technical condition of the objects of trunk pipelines; - develops and implements measures to improve the reliability of oil pipelines; - performs work on the reconstruction and modernization of facilities using modern equipment and world-class technology; - ensures the operation of main oil pipeline facilities in compliance with the requirements for environmental protection; - develops and implements measures to reduce the consumption of electricity and other energy sources; - develops and implements measures for labor protection, social protection and health improvement of workers; - designs on its own and other projects for the reconstruction and construction of facilities; - conducts the development of the necessary research and development works by contract.
